The Week Is Drawing To An End

and it’s fair to say that it was a good one!
Monday: Picked up Tyler from the airport and spent the afternoon at his doorm watching 30 rock and chilling.
Tuesday: Dinner with a family friend and watched Baby Mama which is hilarious.
Wednesday: Picked Chloe bear up from Bonita Vista! We exchanged gifts in my car, I made her Japanese flower earings and she made me a hemp bracelet. We went into town I took her to the thrift store and then we went to gelato veto and M thoery, walked around to kill some time. I got to use my film camera and my filters for my project. Can’t wait to develop my roll.
Thursday: Worked, cashed my paycheck, ran errands, taught Haley her first guitar lesson, and had my weekly meetup with a
Ann Marie over dinner.
Damn good week.

I spent the day with my friend Jordan and her brother Jesse. We ventured out into basically the whats left of the open space in Chula Vista. Its a beautiful drive, its basically winding road that eventually leads into Jamul. Its such a forgien idea to imagine that your still in Chula Vista, in light of the fact that theres basically just houses, house, and well houses on very corner. Instead theres vast open space and fields and lakes. We even passed the sky diving place haha. We noticed whats above (the picture) while driving. Ive seen pictures of it, but never actually knew of where it was. Who would have thought, Chula Vista? Anyways we drove out maybe 9 or 10 miles before heading back. And of course we stopped at the dam. You basically hike up of a big hill, and it leads to the dam. Its amazing and decked out in graffiti and oddly enough it looks so tasteful and pretty. Its a rush because your so high up with nothing to save you if you fall.
We sat on the ledge, ran up and down the steep edges and collected tons of rocks and through them into the lake, shouted at the top of our lungs. We wanted to see movement of the artwork because the view of the artwork on the acutal dam is pretty lame when on top. So we hiked down into the canyon lands to view it better. There are so many funny, sad, sweet and artful pieces on the dam.
Forsure a day I do not want to forget. I plan to go back, many many times. I hope everyone had a wonderful day as well.
P.S. Cereal at 12am is much better than when eaten in the morning.
